please excuse my absence from the blog for the past 2 weeks. I promise to be better and will make it up to everyone with better content moving forward. That being said, the 1st half of the year is over and its been an interesting ride. multiple serious injuries have marred the atmosphere a bit so hoping for a healthier 2nd half of the year.

Mid Season awards

Captain of the year—–Mark Manzke
awesome run from team Manzke but it was short lived with 2 of their top 3 going down with possible season ending injuries. Team Manzke will be picking up a guy for the rest of the season but it wont be enough to stop this team from plummeting in the standings….they are currently 6-2 and i am prediciting that they finish 8-8

Rookie of the mid year and DOTMY (Dylan of the mid year)——Dylan Overstreet….he dominated from the start and in brutal fashion, breaks his wrist on a fluke play. sucks to see this as this Dylan has been a great addition to the league

surprise of the mid year—-Dave Wills. Dave was a ridiculous value in the 7th round for team Healy….he averages about 4-5 from 3 per game and doesn’t turn the ball over much (sometimes).

Oaf of the mid year—–Steve Bendo. team Manzke is dominating the mid season awards but thats ok…none of these guys will be on the final list based on their teams decent to the bottom of the standings

Worst Captain of the mid year—-3 way tie goes to O’Malley-DeCarlo-Hanigan

Team O’Malley has been a huge disappointment after winning the league the last 3yrs (kind of) and basically completely shitting the bed in the 1st half

Team DeCarlo—–bad drafting, bad coaching

Team Hanigan—-complete joke of a team

Looking forward to a better start to the 2nd half tonight
