Bye- Harrigan – they will be going on a Team retreat this weekend which will include team-building exercise such as “trust falls” and passing drills. Defensive drills are optional.

FAT TUESDAY- Show up at the bar. Dingers will be serving Catfish and Jambalaya. No not really same old shitty cold pizza but show up any way.

6:00- Spadoni  -18 v. Wagner- a tough season just got tougher having to face Team Spud. Could this be a trap game for Team Spud? Not likely. Both Packy and Wags are GTDs leaving Team Wags with 5 and Greeno has not played in two weeks. Spread could change depending on whether Packy and Wags make it but the outcome of the game will not. No X factors in this game both team just need to get through it without getting hurt as Team Wags appears headed to locking up a spot in the Play-In Game. Mark your Calendars for Sunday morning April 19th.

Late addendum- Greeno will not play tonight due to ongoing back issues. This game will be over by half-time.

7:00-McEldowney v. Statham -6 (revenge game for Team Orange)-this time Team Green will have a different make-up without Rob and it could be the difference in winning and losing. Not enough game film to come up with a strategy to deal with Fahey but most likely Team Orange’s resident pit bull will draw the assignment. Team Green will only have 6 so Team Orange will need to get out and run which is what they do best. Fahey is the “x” factor for team Green (mostly because of the unknown). Team Orange will have a full squad other than their captain who is out with a lower body injury. Look for Jay and Patrick to be “X” factors in this one.

8:00- Healy v. O’Malley -8 Captain “Obvious” Healy declares that his “team will get back on track”  while yours truly says the team will continue to be derailed. Of course, he might want to walk that comment back after finding out that Hunt and Felker would be missing but then again I am not sure that they will even notice that Hunt is missing. Look for Slager to be the “x’ factor for Team Healy. After missing last week, O’Malley will be jacking up more shots than usual to make up for lost time. Glanville will be the “x” factor for Team Black. Without Hunt to Match up with Man Bun ‘s half-brother, it will be left to Carroll to try and slow him down but could wear him down and hurt his offense.Team Black’s bench will be back to getting “O’Malley” minutes after logging a season high last week in his absence.

9:00- Manzke  -6  v. Healy  -time for team Manzke to show if they are a pretender or contender- if they are at full strength Team Manzke has a shot at the upset – a battle of two teams with complete opposite styles. As it turns out, Team Manzke will not be at full strength but will have the big 3 of Sexton so they will not be missing anyone of consequence. McGelligot and Manzke. Bad timing for Team Healy as they may only have 5 guys so Team Manzke could run Team Blue out of the gym. Everyone misses a game now and then but missing a game because “your wife has a 9;00 pm hair appointment” is just unacceptable. Sure she does. How about-  Hey honey, I play basketball on Tuesday nights(it is week 11 by the way she should know this is your BB/bar night-oh nevermind the bar part but that now explains a lot). How about hey honey  could you maybe get you haircut on one of the other 6 days of the week. Please hand in your man card. Fitz, Sully, Griggs and McGuire are missing the game so you can figure out who it is.

Late addendum: Lyons may now miss the game but at least he has a man’s excuse.  Assuming this is the case,  this totally flips the spread, changes the outcome of the game and Manzke walks away with the win.

More to come if time permits
