with only 3 games on the docket the bar attendance was very weak….I am chalking this one up as a loss and will regain the bar count next week when we have a full slate of games (ehm….Ramsden)
7pm Spadoni 54 DeCarlo 45
I am still not ready to believe that team Orange is any good…half because i am extremely stubborn, half because they truly stink. Bendo played to his big ass self and led team Spaindoni to the victory…..Pat Fitz looked good, Pat Statham looked good and team DeCarlo just didnt have the weapons to compete…game was close but a combo of missed free throws and DeCarlo’s poor coaching led to to a disappointing loss for team Black. maybe team spadoni is good…maybe i am crazy. 2020 has been backwards as it is with the spandemic so maybe this is just one of those things.
8pm Harrigan 52 Mac 45
Rob with the late bail……again. Mac had no chance in this game WITH Rob so it was pretty much over from the start. McGinnis pulled a DeCarlo and got drunk before the game…not a big judger but getting drunk before basketball is super pointless….BUT, apparently it worked for McGinnis…..he held Mac to only a few 3’s which seems to be a pattern…Kohl and Harrigan played like Kohl and Harrigan this week….sounds like they were prettty sour after the week 1 loss to the future champs….the more i look at this team the better they look.
9pm John Healy 55 Manzke 47
Team Manzke continues to look like a bottom 2 team….the 3 headed monster of Cosme, Slager and Manzke scored EVERY SINGLE POINT but 2. 45 points from 3 guys is usually good…..except when the rest of your team doesnt score. Team Manzke held a big lead in the 2nd half but just couldnt hang with team Green. Shalvis had around 15, Oaf Healy had about 10, the Alaskan had about 10 and Kevin Harrigan had the rest…more balanced scoring = win. Is team Healy for real? dont think so…..they will move up 1 spot in the power rankings which isnt saying much.
Power Rankings

2. Team Harrigan (1-1)

6. Team DeCarlo (1-1)
