Hard for me to complete a factual recap for last week since we had the bye and I wasn’t at the games so I will just mention a few things.

Rumors are swirling that team DeCarlo is close to disbanding…..started the year 3-1 and have lost their last 4. According to DeCarlo it’s a perfect mix of Michael Healy not living up to his draft round and Rich forgetting how to play like he did in the first 4 weeks. we have never had a team disband mid year (it basically happened with team Harrigan last year) so lets hope for a DeCarlo win tonight
Rumors are also swirling that in last weeks barn burner between Manzke and Carroll, the worst shot ever taken in the history of Ridge Park basketball occurred……now, this is clearly impossible because I watched the worst shot ever taken in the leagues history…..it happened 2yrs ago at the Crestwood rec center by none other than Donald Doubles McAvoy. Don ,in the speed of a normal game , shot the ball from short of half court with about 3 minutes left in the game because he “thought time was running out”…..pretty incredible……anyway, back to the 2nd worst shot ever taken……I hesitate to name names since this guy is a rookie in the league, but it sounds like he almost shattered the backboard with how hard it ricocheted.

6pm Hanigan vs Mac -4

Big game for both squads…..Mac is 2-6 and tied for last place, Hanigan is not much better @ 3-5. Team Hanigan has a full bench tonight and we all know what happens when all 9 guys show up. Pretty much a guaranteed loss.

Team Mac is better than their record shows in my opinion….Rob has missed a few games and Mac forgets how to shoot when his dad doesn’t come to the games.

Hanigan vs Mac—brute strength vs non stop energy. I am leaning towards Mac

Overstreet vs Rob—-similar players, both have aged in the past few seasons, advantage Rob

Doorhy vs Other teams # 1 defender——-Defender

Mac 65 Hanigan 61

7pm Carrroll -22 vs O’Malley

This one isn’t even fun to predict……O’Malley is missing 3 of their top 5 and Carroll has a full squad. Ryan Carroll is making his long awaited debut tonight after coming off a collarbone injury….him screwing up team Carroll’s chemistry is really the only hope team O’Malley has to stay in this game. I predict team O’Malley will try a minimum of 3 different types of zones and in the long run, just deal with getting pounded in man to man

Carroll 72 O’Malley 50

8pm J Healy -8 vs Harrigan

I don’t like either of these teams but their record demands respect……both Healy & Harrigan have the potential to make a run in the playoffs and it pains me to say that. J Healy has a pretty deep squad with their 8th rounder breaking the record for 3’s made in a game by an 8th rounder (3)…..Harrigan is without whitey and will absolutely NOT win this game.

Healy 63 Harrigan 55

9pm B Healy -22.5 vs DeCarlo

Getting kicked when they are down, team DeCarlo couldn’t be running into a worse team to start the 2nd half…..team DeCarlo hasn’t tasted victory since December 20th, that’s over 1 month without a win. This has led to a team rift that may be un-repairable. Lucky for them they play team Mac next week so could have a shot at getting a W. McCann, Slager and Statham will be too much to handle for team DeCarlo.

Healy 55 DeCarlo 32.5
