January 7th- Week 4
I am sure like me(14 times in the gym since my last game)) you have all been in the gym working on your game getting ready for the 2020 season to start up. After 3 weeks it is still hard to tell who the eventual front-runner will be due to teams not having their full squads and a key injury to the Number 1 over all pick.Unfortunately for Team Brian Healy, Don McAvoy is out for the year. He will be replaced by Scott Lyons and he should be a good replacement and fit for team Healy but he will not take the floor until February so it will take a while to see where Team B. Healy will stack up with the rest of the competition. Hopefully, we can get through the rest of the season without any major injuries.
Bye- Team John Healy
6:00- McEldowney -3 v. Manzke (upset special) Team Manzke will be without Sexton (vaginitis acting up apparently) and McNulty or Collins. Team McEldowney will have all of its top players. Can Stahl have a repeat performance? Pete Spain will be the X factor for team McEldowney. McGelligot will be theX-factor for Team Manzke. In a game that might come down to the final possession, Team McEldowney gets the upset. McDonaugh will need name tags!
7:00-Spadoni -6 v. Healy- Team Healy will be short-handed but will have Healy, Sullivan, Maloney, Kessenich and Smallbone and Team Spadoni will be without Shimko and Spadoni. Kessenich will be the x-factor for team Healy. Alkhovsky will be the X-factor for team Spadoni.
8:00- Wagner v, Harrigan -8- This should be a high-scoring affair with neither team showing much interest in playing defense but if Packy and Bendo can slow down the Harrigan boys they have a slight chance of an upset. Chris Hayes will be the X-factor for Team Harrigan. Troy will be the x-factor for Team Spadoni.
9:00- Statham v. O’Malley -10- in a re-match(sort of) of last year’s Championship game team Statham will be out to show that that game was a fluke and that their 2-0 start to this season is also not a fluke. Team Statham has all kinds of match-up problems that will be tough to over come. Glanville will be the X-factor for team O’Malley. Patrick Statham will be the x-factor for Team Orange. Assuming Kevin Statham does not have his first child prior to game time, will O’Malley’s tradition of feasting on Kevin’s “defense” continue? Will Decarlo be let out of the dog house?
