bye- B. Healy

00- Harrigan 65 over O’Malley 56- Well who knew Team Harrigan can actually play some defense as Brian Harrigan locked down McCann all night-  I would not have believed it if I did not see it with my own eyes. The bar has now been raised.Team O’Malley actually should have but blew a late double-digit lead and still had a chance to tie or take the lead with less than 2 minutes left when an ill-advised(you are open for a reason) 3 point shot was taken and followed by two unforced TOs and eliminating any chance of winning the game as it turned into a FT shooting contest at that point. And a bonus- an appearance at the bar by BOTH Harrigans-there is a first time for everything.

00-Spadoni 51 over Healy A/K/A Not So Lonely At the Top No More 43- Team Healy started out well enough going out to a 17-3 lead but it went all down hill after that. O’Malley’s offense was definitely missed. Without Hunt, Carroll and Slager were the only offense and Carroll uncharacteristically had an off-shooting night. Team Healy was hurt by poor shot selection on multiple possessions taking away opportunities for Slager and Carroll to fight off the charge by Team Spadoni on a night where Alex was off by Alkovsky came though in the clutch scoring late on 3 straight possessions. This game was a little too whiny on both sides for Week 7. Healy played like he was still locked up at the fire house in the exam room.

00- Statham 61 over Manzke 50- Despite having a full squad, Team Manzke could not get it down although Mark was playing under the weather and it obviously effected his game but not his streak of yelling at his teammates as he yelled “He only shoots f%$#ing 3s-you might want to guard him after burying consecutive 3 point shots.” which then inspired this unnamed play to take Mark into the post and give him the “what for”.  In a hard fought  game- Team Manzke got a break by not having a technical called on them that would have essentially ended the game but instead Team Statham answered the non-call with a dagger 3 point shot that lead to another outburst and still no call. There will be a league investigation.

00- McEldowney 53 over Wagner 43-this was Wagner’s chance to steal a win with Knapczyk not playing but it was not to be further proof that Team McEldowney will have something to say come play-off time. Team Wagner needs to figure it out quickly as I see the Play-in game in their future as things stand now. A Team meeting at Dingers could go along way to figuring things out but then again that would require more than Mike and Brian showing up at the bar.Right now they are looking like they are going to fill up most roster spots on the All-Shame team in addition to playing in the play-in game.
