This is a conversation today between Crud and Brian Healy after receiving “the Call” last at 2:00 am from their significant other as they were closing down Dingers last night.
Bye-Team Wagner
6:00- Shimko over Bernard- Team Shimko wins another one as Alex single-handedly almost out scored the entire Bernard Team. The most interesting part of this whole game was witnessing Keith talking to himself on the bench and complaining about the call’s that Alex was getting. Memo to Keith: when you lose by 20 it is not the ref’s fault. Maybe if you has someone else guard Shimko or at least help out it may have been another story since Bendo was missing and Team Shimko had no one else who could score. Of course, it did not that Team Bernard was missing were McEldowney but the way McEldowney has been shooting I am not sure that would have helped either. Rovy did his best to will his team to victory but it was like running uphill all night.
7:00- Healy 58 over O’Malley 47-Without McCann and Glanville for Team O’Malley and Team Healy without Mariner, this was not much of a game and all of sudden Team O’Malley is in a 2 game skid.
8:00- Statham over Spadoni- Team Statham continues to hover around 500 while waiting for Cosme to return from wherever he is at. Team Spadoni was missing Harrigan, it would not have helped there once again lackluster defensive effort.
9:00-Manzke 38 over Mikizus 36 (not a misprint) the only thing worse than this game was the failure of a single member of either team to show up at the bar. Team Manzke gets a pass because they have been good all year but Team Mikuzis remains in free fall on and off the court.
BAR RESULTS: Statham (5), O’Malley (3), Spadoni(2), Shimko(2), Healy (5), Bernard(2), Manzke(0), Mikuzis(0)
