bye-Team Healy

00-  Spadoni 63 over Bernard 57- another Tuesday another loss for team Bernard but this game was much closer than it should have been most like due to Keith’s absence. This was the typical  for Team Bernard- play solid man to man defense that allows them to keep the game close but just not enough offense to get over the hump. Smallbone had his best game of the year but it might have had something to do with Team Spadoni not having any “Big” to match-up with him. McEldowney’s shooting touch continues to be colder than the polar vortex-but this is not the really problem-his team does nothing to get hi  the ball in his spots or set screens from him. Not be able to take advantage of one of the best shooters in the league is a huge problem for Team Bernard. Who is the PG on this this team any way?

00- Wagner 56 over O’Malley 33- this normally would be the upset of the decade but considering McCann played the first half on one leg and did not play the second half and no Glanville for Team O’Malley the out come is not that surprising. It does show, however, how dependent Team O’Malley’s success is dependent upon McCann. The good news is that McCann’s injury does not appear to be serious and he should be fine going forward. There was a rare highlight in this game with Heller scoring on a contested lay-up with an assist from Ryan. You can decide for yourself which part of that is more rare. Due to McCann’s injury and Glanville’s absence, Team Wagner can’t take much from this game but a win is a win.

00- Mikuzis 64 over Shimko 48-relax ,relax there is an explanation for this outcome. The best player on Team Green last night was Manzke who was subbing because Team Green only had 4 guys. At least Manzke got a win last night. Also, Alex did not show-something to do with it being too cold outside. All that being said, hard to figure such a lop-sided score.

00-Statham 52 over Manzke 46 (OT)- this was the game of the night although considering the 3 games that preceded this one, it would not take much to be a high quality game. Once again, no Cosme and only 6 guys for Team Statham which is encouraging sign for Team Statham in what has been a lost season as they try to defend their Championship. The good news his every one is getting plenty of playing time and will be ready to be called upon come play-off time. Manzke hit a 3-point shot with 15 seconds left to put the game into OT. Team Statham grabbed the lead in OT and Team Manzke was forced to foul and Team Statham made all their FTS to “ice” the game. The untold story is that Ben Shrader hit another 3 and is now hit 4 out of 5 for the year and can longer be dared to shoot giving Team Orange another 3 point weapon. His 3 point shooting is merely a bonus on top of all the under-appreciated dirty work he does for Team Orange.
