i was just fucking around with everyone last week with my spreads….easy to say when i was 0-4 but at least i correctly predicted Carroll beating Harrigan. i am putting my handicapper hat on this week though and hoping to do better than my draftkings account would lead you to believe.

Week 2 preview

6pm B Healy -2 vs DeCarlo
Kevin McCann is out for week 2 after having his 2nd kid….congrats Kevin. Even with that, i am still putting my $$ on Team B Healy. Slager stayed out of the quarry last night and Pat Statham is out for Blood vs. Crud….said something about a hard foul in the championship last year that gave him a bad taste in his mouth….Pat, not crud. Cruds mouth tastes like Bud Light and cigs.

Michael Healy vs Brian Healy—-this matchup could be pretty ugly if Michael remembers how to plan basketball….no 3’s, use your body and can completely dominate any game. For Brian, he has to garner his inner oaf to keep this one close

Gollogly vs Konopka—-this is my favorite matchup of the night. a proven defense stalwart vs the leagues leading scorer by 15pts. Although Tommy can do nothing offensively, he can change this game by showing Konopka that people actually play defense in this league

Sheehy and Dillon vs Slager and Statham—-4 quick guards…2 who want to drive, 2 who want to shoot. if both Pat and slager can score the pendilum will swing the way of team Healy.

Healy 48 DeCarlo 46

7pm O’Malley vs Carroll -2
Team Carroll is shorthanded tonight….will have 5 or 6 with Ryan Carroll, Bill Barry and Wills being out..Kevin Carroll is a game time decision. Team O’Malley will have 7 or 8 and need to bounce back from their embarassing loss last week. this spread is assuming Kevin Carroll is IN even though, according to Dave Wills, “he looked fucking terrible last week”. if Carroll is out, its O’Malley -6

Kennedy vs Finger—-played in college together, one was an all american, one goes by Dick Finger…..this one should be fun to watch. Rich will end up being a dominating scorer in this league….team O’Malley just has to figure out how to make that happen.

Smallbone vs nobody—-if Carroll shows, he will likely have to handle the beast down in the post. if he doesnt, Guinane will have to play 35 min, which could be ugly.

Koll vs Coci—-offense vs defense. Koll can still score and manage the game with the best of them but can he stay in front of Coci.

Carroll 54 O’Malley 52 OR O’Malley 58 Carroll 52

8pm Harrigan vs John Healy -6
as usual, no response from Harrigan this AM on how many guys they have….Shifty McGinnis has him running in circles this AM…..John Healys squad will be full with it being their 1st game of the year. Pretty interesting game here vs what looks to be 2 pretty bad teams. Team Healy is super confusing on paper and their W/L % will likely hinge on how good Kyle Adams is and also how many shots Brettman takes per game.

Whitey vs Gierhahn—-love these 2 guys going at it. Whitey is pretty much impossible to stop but when you put a little rat like Jay on him, it should at least slow him down a bit.

Fahey vs Vodicka—-Fahey has a lot to prove….said he hasnt played in a while but in 2013 he scored 2 points in 3 straight games vs Ohio State, Northwestern and Nebraska. sorry Kennedy, but i think this is the leagues most impressive hoops resume. d3 all americans are pussies.

Adams vs B Harrigan—-from what we know about Adams, he has a high basketball IQ (according to 9th round pick Mike Brettman)….cant wait to see how confused he is when he watches B Harrigan take 30 3’s tonight

Healy 52 Harrigan 46

9pm Hanigan -8 vs Mac
hanigan looks to continue their hot streak vs team mac who was lambasted by 24 last week. team hanigan is running on a pretty solid high. both teams seem like they have a full squad, Hanigan may not make it as he is running a research project on the recent twitter election allegations. RED politics come before tuesday hoops….always.

Overstreet vs Rob—–these 2 guys are pretty much the same…..can shoot, can drive and make everyone around them better….Dylan is younger and therefore, i am taking him.

Bendo vs Bartlett—–slow and steady vs quick and shredded……can Bendo guard him outside of the post? does he need to?

Hanigan vs Mac—–Hanigan is in shape, Mac used to be. Mac can shoot with the best of them, Hanigan is a shitty shooter. Mac is a screaming liberal, Hanigan stormed the capitol.

Rap vs Statham—-this is the classic Ridge Park league matchup. slow and slower but both are top 5 shooters in the league. ill take whoever eats a lighter dinner tonight

Hanigan 58 Mac 50
