lots of question marks going into week one. The league talent level has gotten to a point where every team has at least 3-4 guys who can score, up from 1 guy 10yrs ago. with the addition of talent comes parity……except for 1 team. i joked last year that Spadoni’s team and draft was the worst ever but in just 1yr, his joke of a squad has been TRUMPED by none other than QAnon member himself, Ryan Hanigan. I will put any amount of $$ on the fact that this team will get dominated weekly and will be in the play-in game come playoff time. Good luck Ry.

6pm Carroll Vs DeCarlo
Michael Healy is coming off of a knee injury so team DeCarlo might be in trouble for the first few weeks. Kevin Carroll coming back from a year off has a ton of size but also some unknown adding a few players who have never played in the league. how will Burhans mesh with Carroll? will Tommy Foster be a sleeper pick? DeCarlo may have the best defensive team in the league with Jay, Michael Healy, Greg McNulty and Brian Hunt….their X factor will be Packy. Can he score like he used to? Will Hunt show up to the bar more than 3x this year? we shall see
Carroll 52 DeCarlo 48

7pm McEldowney vs Manzke
Team McEldowny looks pretty dangerous on paper…..good mix of size and shooting. Team Manzke looked good until after the 4th round. from there their team went straight in the dumpster. Dylan Overstreet is good and will allow team Manzke to stay in games but i have zero faith in this team being able to compete every week.
Mac 58 Manzke 43

8pm O’Malley vs B Healy
what would have been the matchup of the week has been ruined by Kevin McCann being on the COVID list. Kevin is fine but will not be able to play until week 2. this game would have been a pretty even matchup but now team O’Malley will have to fight an uphill battle. Team Healy has Rob who is probably the most consistent scorer in the league. he will score 20 even if not playing to his potential. Team O’Malley will rely on its 2-5 picks to pick up the slack with Kevin out but if O’Malley’s draft plan comes to fruition missing Kevin wont matter much.
O’Malley 62 Healy 53

9pm Harrigan vs J Healy
Team J Healy is an absolutely massive squad. first 4 picks are all big and first 3 can score the ball. they will challenge for best defensive team in the league, biggest question mark will be who can score the ball outside of McAvoy and Koll. Could the oldest player in the league (Wags) be the x factor for this squad? Team Harrigan is basically the same as last year with the exception of McGinnis. Whitey and Brian Harrigan will do the majority of scoring for this squad with John Best chipping in a few per game. Tommy Gollogly and Stahl will battle for PT like last year…..how many weeks will go by before Tommy complains that he needs more minutes?
