Power Rankings after week 10
1 O’Malley
2 B Healy
3 Spadoni
4 Manzke
5 J Healy
6 DeCarlo
7 Mac
8 Harr (never gonna win) igan
6pm B Healy W vs Mac L
another week, another loss for team not mac daddy. as usual, team red stayed in the game for most of it but had no way to guard team Healy. Team Mac is a few weeks from picking up Scott Lyons to take Rob’s place. it will be interesting to see how they adapt with the addition of a bible beater to the mix. they may not win but they sure as hell will be closer to jesus.
7pm O’Malley W vs Spadoni L
McCann makes his return and team Blue scores 70pts…..what a surprise. this was a ball movement clinic and Colin Sullivan hit about 8 3’s. Team Spadoni was extremely short handed so not sure how much this game actually meant…..props to Pat Statham though for keeping them in the game for a while….cut it to a 2pt lead with 8 min left in the 2nd half and then just couldnt keep up.
8pm Manzke W vs Harrigan L
I am starting to feel bad for team Harrigan. former top 2 power rankings squad has reached the depths of hell (sorry Scott Lyons) and is in 2nd to last place and the basement of the power rankings. game attendance is down, bar attendance is down (oustide of Stahl and Linnane of course) and although trade rumors continue to swirl, no official moves have been proposed. This game was over at the tip off. Embarrassing loss for Team Harrigan…..4 W in their last 5 for team Manzke.
9pm DeCarlo W vs J Healy L
Jay Gierhahn joins the big balls club with a ridiculous buzzer beater to take out team Green. I didnt see the play but it sounded like every single player from team Black set a screen for Jay at the free throw line, Jay did one of his weird fade away, leg in the air jumpers and it went in to win the game. I interviewed Jay after the game and this is what he had to say” Entro Y Estoy feliz por mi equipo, puedo prestarme su mostaza, mi abuela me dijo que solo comiera sandwiches simples”
