only positive vibes on this preview today…..Ran into Bob Nowicki today picking up the kids from school and he looked great. not sure why but in my head i wasnt going to see him walking around until mid summer. small scar on his Achilles and already out of the walking boot. not sure if there is anyone in the league that can learn from Bob but if there is, i hope he is reading this post. Its currently 55 degrees and according to Ronnie there may be something special to “drool” at at the bar tonight. i have not confirmed the validity of this but if anything, its a good reason to come to the Hideout for a few beers and a frozen pizzas provided by the generous (cheap) owners of this beautiful (hilbilly) Crestwood establishment. 5 weeks remain in the regular season and lots still to decide.
6pm J Healy vs Manzke
team Manzke has lost 3 of their last 4 but team Moral is running hot with the news that DOTMY Dylan Overstreet may be back in the next few weeks. his addition will make things awkward for the new Lugan on Manzkes squad as he will be served with transfer papers and have his choice to move to team Harrigan or exit the league. More Dylan info will be provided as things progress….J Healy was on a 5 game run but has lost its last 2 and will be hampered by Don being out….this may actually be a good game.
Manzke 58 J Healy 54
7pm B Healy vs Harrigan
B Healy runs into team Harrigan at the perfect time…Rob is out tonight but that clearly wont matter against this rag tag bunch…..according to Harrigan they will be bringing out a sweedish replacement tonight…..it could literally be Jonas Jerebko and it still wouldnt help this squad win. Can Tom Gollogly continue to “kill it” while losing by 40 per game?
B Healy 51 Harrigan 16
8pm Mac vs Decarlo
Hunt will miss his 9th game of the year for team DeCarlo while Mac is missing Slevin and someone unimportant…..according to Kennedy he is 78% which pretty much makes him only a lot better than anyone else on the court….Team DeCarlo riding high off of their first win in 5 weeks looks to make it a winning streak that really doesnt matter because they are going to play team Harrigan in the play-in game anyway….Gierhahn can only do so much Michael.
Mac 64 DeCarlo 58
9pm O’Malley vs Hanigan
Team O’Malley has 6 guys tonight and its definitely not their best 6…team Hanigans attendance is unknown as its captain is unresponsive (very typical). Ryan continues to play drama queen with his future pick up for McCarthy and wont make a decision….not sure how many guys you have to put in front of him before he makes a decision….there is clearly still salt in the wound regarding his squashed bullshit attempt to pick up a ringer. Team Hanigan has NOBODY to guard McCann so Team O’Malley will be relying on him to do the majority of the scoring.
O’Malley 67 Hanigan 56
